About the Role
Management Accountant (6 month Fixed term Contract)
Kingston Upon Hull (West)
- Qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA with strong breadth of Management Accounting experience.
- 6 month FTC.
- Commercial & Business acumen.
About the Company
Based in Kingston Upon Hull (West), my client is a privately owned FMCG organisation boasting a diverse client portfolio across the UK and Mainland Europe. As the business continues to grow the need has arisen to recruit a strong and capable interim management accountant to support the Financial Controller across a range of month end duties.
About the role
Specific responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Monthly P & L analysis.
- Accruals and Prepayments.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- VAT Returns.
- Cash flow forecast & projection work.
- Prepare monthly KPIs, and provide in-depth analysis of variances around work in progress.
- Implement “best practice” procedures across transactional areas of the Finance Function.
Candidate Profile
Qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT or Qualified by Experience, you will possess a wide variety of management accounting skills with the ability to convey financial information in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of excel in addition to excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail.
