About the Company

Based in Beverley in the heart of the East Riding of Yorkshire my client is a well-established, esteemed and fast expanding independent firm of chartered accountants who are now looking to add an ambitious and senior, qualified account to join their team. The firm has a progressive and modern feel with a diverse UK wide client base from sole traders and partnerships up to limited companies.

About the role

With the opportunity to progress to Managerial level, you will become an integral part of the audit team with the responsibility of overseeing the audit process from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing audit and business advice to a variety of clients.
• Providing an on-site co-ordination role for audit clients including planning, day to day management of the audit team, liaising with clients and completing audit assignments.
• Accounts preparation for corporate clients.
• Preparation of corporation tax returns and computations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and established audit clients.
• Working, supervising, and liaising with other members of the audit team and colleagues in other parts of the firm as necessary to provide a high-quality client service.

Candidate Profile

 As Audit Senior, you will need:

• ACA, ACCA qualified or actively progressing toward accounting qualification.
• Significant auditing and accounting experience in a similar role such as Audit Senior or Audit Executive.
• Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
• Strong business awareness, sound reporting skills and the ability to work under your own initiative.
• A passion for client service.
• A keenness to further your own personal development and career goals.
